How to Manage Arguments in Friendship
Friendship is an important factor in our lives. Keeping true friends is a challenging task. Here are tips to manage arguments in friendships, to keep the relationship healthy and alive. How do you manage your friendships?
It would be great if we can write a want-advertisement for a perfect friend and someone with the exact characteristics we advertised would respond. It's a wonderful thought. Unfortunately it doesn't happen in the real world. There are times when we hit it off with someone and the relationship flourishes. Even then, most good friendships develop over years. However, even this eventually blows up, leaving us over and over again to wonder, what have I done wrong?
It's not easy to maintain friendships and sometimes friends disappoint. This makes it more difficult to work out who our friends are. Over time our interests may change, which can mean our common interests have diminished, and eventually, ending the friendship may be the best thing. Some hang on. Others let go and move on.
How then can we maintain a wholesome relationship with our best or close friends? One that I consider important in friendship is how to manage arguments in friendship.
Sharing ideas and opinions with each other is part of friendship. Disagreement is normal and these differences may lead to arguments. Perhaps we have had a bad day or our friend did. Tempers flare up, not necessarily meant for each other. We feel hurt and angry. We could be disappointed when we disagree. These feelings make it difficult to manage disagreements, but working through them can make friendships stronger.
To manage arguments and help resolve disagreements with friends, here are significant suggestions that come to mind:
Understand and Accept Differences – Understanding what our friend has to say and accepting differences in opinion give us a good place to start. Doing this allows both parties to air different opinions, and most important is, through understanding each other we are able to agree or agree-to-disagree. Just as we want to be respected, we need to respect our friend's point of view, and this, even if we don't see eye to eye.
Let Your Friend Know How You Feel - It is helpful to let your friend know how you feel. Talk it out. Keeping our pent up feelings to ourselves will most likely make us angrier. It is a good idea to speak to him or her when you are both calm. If it helps, write down your thoughts first before talking to your friend. This can help clear up what you want to say. Perhaps a cooling-off period might even be necessary.
Listen actively to your friend - Be a good listener by concentrating on what your friend is trying to say, instead of already thinking of what you are going to rebut. Try to avoid moralizing or to offer a patronizing attitude. Allowing our friends to tell their side of the story is helpful in managing arguments. Sometimes it is tempting to interrupt. Instead, we should try and wait until they have finished what they have to say.
Avoid blaming - When we are hurt and angry it is normal to want to blame someone. Laying blame can make a situation harder. It is helpful to stay focused on resolving the disagreement at hand. Let us say "I'm sorry" sincerely, if necessary.
No matter how we try to keep our friendships, there is always an element of expectation although our friends, or we, may not accept this upfront. In fact, friends seldom express this openly to each other. No, not even best of friends. Keeping true friends is a challenging task. However, managing the unavoidable arguments makes it easier with practice. It can only help keep our friendships healthy and alive.

chhu lene do najuk hoton ko

Every woman on this earth wants to have blazing and succulent lips which gives a strong impact on men. A beautiful lip adds beauty to your personality and a woman can feel confident on herself.
Therefore the last rule to bright your beauty is proper way of lipstick application. Generally women think if they have only beauty thing with them then it can be lipstick.
Lip color creates whole beauty in you and can bring harmony. To maintain the beauty of lips you should always have lip color with you and re apply whenever required.
Always choose lip color according to your clothing style and blush colors. The color of your dress and blush should have complement with your lipstick but it does not completely match with your clothes or blush color it should have some contrast with respect to your dress but lip color which you are applying should have same concentration and choice. At time try to wear warm and cool colors together. For example pink lipstick should go with pink and blue colors clothes whereas corals and russets should go with yellow or orange dress. Therefore always be selective in your lip color.
There are various steps which one you should follow to apply lip colors. These are:-
1. Apply foundation all over your lips this extends your wear.
2. Via a lip pencil which should be soft and pointed, start making outline and give shape over your lip. Starting with V in your upper lip drawn to corners of your lip. After that at the middle of bottom lip make a line to the corners. Use your lip pencil all over the lip so that lip color on lips will stay longer.
3. Then fill upper lip with a lip stick or you can also use lip brush.
4. The next step is filling the lower lip, blemish it and then reapply.
5. To have more attractive look daub a gloss in the c entre of lower lip.
If you follow these simple steps you can have more glamorous lips which can easily catch others!
Whenever you define your lips with lip pencil make sure that lip stick colors and lip pencil should be in close contact with your lips. If you apply lip liner it should not be visible. Lip liners are only meant to keep lip stick in its place.
Make sure that dark lipsticks will make your lips to look even smaller
Nine Tips for Healthy Hair
No matter what type of hair nature blessed you with, there are things you can do to keep it healthy, lustrous, looking its best. Here are some tips for a healthy head of hair from the tradition of Ayurveda, the 5,000-year old healing tradition that originated in India:
  1. Like everything else about true, lasting beauty, healthy hair begins within your body. Start with your diet. Include lots of green leafy vegetables and sweet juicy fruits. Dairy products such as milk and fresh yogurt will also help. Fresh coconut is also considered excellent "hair food" - sprinkle grated coconut over salads, diced fresh fruit, or rice.

  2. Cut down on refined, processed and canned foods. Ayurveda considers foods with artificial preservatives and chemical additives stripped of their inherent "intelligence" and therefore not helpful in supplying nutrition to your body and mind. Ice-cold beverages also hamper the process of digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

  3. Cooking with certain spices adds flavor to your food and provides nourishment for your hair. Cumin, turmeric and black pepper are some "hair-friendly" spices. Add a healthy pinch of each to single-portion soups and stews as they are cooking. Saut - 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon each of the three spices in a teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter) or olive oil and add to cooked veggies. Roasted ground cumin and ground black pepper can be sprinkled over fresh yogurt.

  4. Stress can be seriously injurious to long-term health and color of hair. Try and manage your time and tasks to minimize time-related pressures. Practice relaxation techniques such as meditation. Seek out tranquil sights in nature to help restore balance to your mind. Relaxing or uplifting music can be therapeutic. Get adequate, good quality sleep to help the natural process of rejuvenation.

  5. Ayurvedic herbs that help hair health include Eclipta alba and Gotu Kola. Eclipta alba is called "Bhringaraj" - literally, king of tresses. It nourishes the hair and helps resistance to stress as well. Brahmi, sometimes called Gotu Kola, also helps balance the mind and nourishes the hair and scalp. Since Ayurveda considers the health, color and luster of hair so dependent on overall mind/body health, synergistic Ayurvedic herbal preparations for hair can also include herbs such as Country Mallow, which is supposed to strengthen the physiology, and Winter Cherry, which aids resistance to stress.

  6. Stay away from harsh chemical topical products that can damage hair over time. Look for gentle, natural cleansers and conditioners, especially if you wash your hair more than three times a week. Shampoos and conditioners that contain nourishing botanicals are even better. Read labels carefully - sometimes, products that say "herbal" or "natural" can include no-no chemicals.

  7. A warm oil scalp massage two or three times a week will help stimulate and moisturize the scalp. You can use good quality coconut, almond or olive oil Ayurvedic hair oils also contain some of the herbs mentioned earlier. Apply some mildly warmed oil to your hair and gently massage into your scalp evenly with your fingertips. Leave on overnight if you can, if not, leave on for at least an hour or two, then get it out by shampooing your hair. The scalp massage helps you relax and aids sound sleep as well.

  8. Never attack wet hair with a brush, no matter how rushed for time you are. Tangles in wet hair are best removed with a wide-toothed comb. Use a wooden comb if you can find one; it won't generate static electricity. Excessive blow-drying can damage hair in the long-term, making it brittle and causing split ends. If you can, let your hair dry naturally, then brush into place.

  9. Last, but not least, brushing your hair regularly to stimulate the scalp will keep it looking healthy and lustrous. Brush each night in all directions in turn - left to right, right to left, front to back and back to front Use smooth long strokes from scalp to hair-tips.

you are so beauriful

Your face looks back at you from the mirror...does it look dry or oily or listless, or does it look glowing and radiant?
This depends on how you take care of your face. Start by giving yourself 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at bedtime.

Tip 1:
Take 1 tbsp of un-boiled milk, dip a small pad of cotton wool in this and rub on the face gently. Use circular movements, use upward strokes on the neck area. Leave this on for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water.

Tip 2:

Take a thick slice of cucumber. Don't peel the slice, rub in a circular motion all over the face and neck areas. Wash after 15 minutes.

Tip 3:

Halve a tomato, gently rub over face and neck and wash after 15 minutes.

Tip 4:

Take the half of a lime peel, from which the juice has been extracted, rub this firmly on the face and the neck. Using a Scrub-(once in 3-4 days).

After washing off the milk or juice - take a tsp of oat bran or wheat husk or gram flour (besan). Make a paste with a few drops of water and rub the face and neck gently with this. This sloughs away the dead cells and gives the face a glow. Don't use soap, just splash on cold water that will act as an astringent and close the pores.

Tip 5:

Use green gram powder or rice flour mixed with curds instead.

Oily Skin: If the face is oily,

After a bath as a base for make-up use some diluted limejuice to dab on before application of foundation or any other make-up.

Tip 6:

Diluted buttermilk dabbed on the face and left for 15 minutes, gently wipe with moist cotton wool before applying make-up.

Tip 7:

Rub the face well with an ice cube.

Tip 8:

Slice an Apple into thin slices. Place these on the face and leave for 15 minutes. These soak up the extra oil and helps to close pores.

8 Success Secrets

The views on success of many of the nation's top motivational speakers and authors can be summarized into 8 success secrets. These ideas were taken from interviews with 15 of the nation's top motivational speakers and authors, including motivational speaker Brian Tracy, authors Les Brown and Dr. Wayne Dyer, sales motivator Mike Ferry, seminar leader Patricia Fripp, and "Chicken Soup" authors Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen.
This is an effort to study how successful people think and uncover what drives them. If you truly understand their belief systems, levels of commitment and positive attitudes toward life--and integrate these ways of thinking into your own belief system--you should be able to succeed at anything you put your mind to.
These 8 "secrets" are:
  1. Take 100 percent responsibility for your life
  2. Live your life "on purpose"
  3. Be willing to pay the price for your dreams
  4. Stay focused
  5. Become an expert in your field
  6. Write out a plan for achieving your goals
  7. Never give up
  8. Don't delay

1. Take 100 percent responsibility for your life

In a society where people blame everything from their parents to the government for their failure to get ahead in life, these men and women refused to buy into the mentality that says "I could succeed if only it weren't for _____."
They realized that when you say someone or something outside of yourself is preventing you from succeeding, you're giving away your power to that someone or something. You're saying, "You have more control over my life than I do!"
Successful people don't buy into this victim thinking. Rather, their personal credo is "If it's to be, it's up to me!"

Example of Les Brown

Consider Les Brown. Abandoned by his parents at birth and labeled "educable mentally retarded" by his schoolteachers, he had every reason for giving up on himself and his dreams. But when a high school teacher told him "Someone else's opinion of you does not have to become your reality," Brown realized in that moment that his future lay in his own hands. He went on to become a state legislator and author, and today earns $20,000 per hour as one of America's top motivational speakers.
What Brown understood was that there are certain things in life you can't control, such as nature, the past and other people. But there are things you absolutely can control, such as your thoughts and your actions. Taking 100 percent responsibility for your life is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself.

2. Live your life "on purpose"

Perhaps what separates these motivational superstars from others more than anything else is that they live their lives "on purpose." That is, they are doing what they believe they were put here to do.

Dyer has purpose

Professional public speakers will tell you that the time they feel most alive is when they are on stage, connecting with an audience. Says Wayne Dyer, "Having a sense of purpose in your life is the most important element of becoming a fully functioning person!"
The difference between living your life on purpose and not living it on purpose is like night and day. The latter consists of simply getting through the week with the least amount of problems while expending just enough effort to get by.

Do the job now

But, when you live your life on purpose, your main concern is doing the job right. You love what you do--and it shows. Your conviction is as evident as it is persuasive. And you will find that people want to do business with you because they sense your commitment to giving your all.

Mike Ferry found purpose

How do you live your life on purpose? By finding a cause you believe in and creating a business around it. For example, Mike Ferry, who was once a top salesperson selling audiotape programs, believed realtors needed help developing sales skills. So he started The Mike Ferry Organization, a seminar and training company for the real estate industry. Today, he earns more than $10 million a year from seminar and product sales. Like Ferry, once you get your life on purpose and focus on providing value for others, the money will take care of itself.

3. Be willing to pay the price for your dreams

Wanting a big house, a luxury car or a million dollars in the bank is all very nice, but the problem is that practically everyone wants these things. The question then is, "Are you willing to pay the price to get them?"
This is one of the major differences between the successful and the unsuccessful. Successful men and women find out what it's going to cost to make their dream come true. Then they find a way to make it happen. Most importantly, they don't complain about the work it takes to achieve their dreams.
Les Brown says he has a callus on his left ear. Why? "When I decided to get into speaking, I had no credentials, no reputation, no credibility and no experience. So I had to call a lot of people," Brown explains. "I called over a hundred people a day, day in and day out, to ask for an opportunity to speak to their group. This callus is worth several million dollars!"
You can get practically anything you want in life--if you are willing to pay the price.

4. Stay focused

Every day, we are bombarded with hundreds of tasks, messages and people all competing for our time. This is why the ability to focus on your goal is so critical to achieving it. Focusing requires giving up some things in the present because you know the time invested will pay off big-time down the road.

Chicken Soup efforts

When Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen compiled their first Chicken Soup for the Soul book, they were turned down by 30 publishers. But instead of giving up, they stayed focused on their goal. "We did three to four radio or newspaper or magazine interviews a day, five days a week, for a whole year," Canfield recalls. In every interview, they talked about why the country needed this book now more than ever.
Eventually, a small publisher called Health Communications Inc. decided to take a chance and publish the book. It not only became a number-one bestseller but also hatched an entire series of Chicken Soup books that have sold more than 10 million copies! That's the power staying focused on your goal can give you.

Focus on dreams

Spend as much of your day as you can focusing on achieving your goals and dreams. Every day, ask yourself, "Is what I'm doing right now bringing me closer to my goal?" If it's not, do something that will. Focusing is like any habit: the more you do it, the easier it gets.

5. Become an expert in your field

One striking factor about all 15 motivational speakers I interviewed is how seriously they take their profession. Their drive to be the best at what they do is phenomenal. They'll do almost anything if they think it will help improve their speaking skills.

Fripp took classes

For example, Patricia Fripp, who speaks to Fortune 500 executives on how to become more successful, took a comedy workshop and hired a private speech coach because she wanted to improve her speaking ability. Fripp did this after she had already been named "One of the Ten Most Electrifying Speakers in North America" by Meetings & Conventions magazine. To Fripp, being one of the best simply wasn't good enough; she wanted to be the best she could be.

What do you do?

If someone followed you around at your business all day with a video camera to make a how-to tape for people who want to do what you do, would it be a tape you'd be proud of? Or embarrassed about? If the latter, make the decision today to work toward being the best in your field. How? By studying the experts. The quickest way to become successful is to find out what the best are doing, then do what they do.

6. Write out a plan for achieving your goals

Taking the time to write out an action plan, or map, for how you're going to achieve your goals is one of the best ways to get there faster.

Brian Tracy set goals

Brian Tracy, one of America's most successful business sales trainers and speakers, points out, "Goals that are not in writing are not goals at all. They are merely wishes or fantasies."

Need a map

Most people try to reach their goals without taking the time to write out an action plan. This is like trying to drive from Los Angeles to Denver without a map. Forget the fact that your odds of reaching your destination are extremely slim. The frustration and wasted time, energy and money will probably cause you to give up long before you get to the Rockies. With a map in hand, however, you'll not only enjoy the trip much more, but you're also virtually assured of arriving at your destination in the shortest time possible.

7. Never give up

It may sound simple, even obvious, but when you're truly committed to achieving your goal, giving up isn't even an option. You must be willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Dyer never gave up

In the mid-1970s, Wayne Dyer quit his job as a professor at Wayne State University to promote his new book, Your Erroneous Zones. However, no major talk show would book the then unknown Dyer. Did he give up? Not on your life. He loaded his car from floor to roof with hundreds of copies of his book, and then spent a year on the road traveling from small town to small town and appearing on any radio or TV talk show that would have him.
Once on the air, Dyer would give out the number of the local bookstore and say that his book was available there. After the interview, he'd quickly drive over to that bookstore, where the manager would say, "Oh, you're Wayne Dyer? We've been getting lots of calls for your book!" Dyer would reply, "Well, I have a case in the car--would you like some?" "Oh, yes! And would you sign some while you're here?"
By the end of the year, The Tonight Show was calling him. And by the end of the 1970s, Your Erroneous Zones had become the number-one best-selling nonfiction book of the entire decade. This is what the power of perseverance can do for you.

8. Don't delay

In his book Live Your Dreams, Les Brown recalls talking on the phone one day with a friend named Marion. The very next day, Marion's husband called to tell Brown she had died.
A few days later, Les was helping the husband clean out Marion's office when he came across some notes for a play she had been working on. Unfortunately, the play would never be published. Marion was the only one who knew how it was supposed to end, and now she was gone.
The lesson here is that Marion didn't know how much time she had left to accomplish her dreams, and neither do you or I. We must remember that we don't have forever. The clock is ticking, there are no time-outs, and sooner or later your number is going to be called. Top achievers know this, but rather than seeing it as something negative or depressing, they use it to spur them on to go after what they want as energetically and as passionately as possible.

succes is not one night

Do you want to get success in life? Many people desire to live a successful life; unfortunately, most of them are not doing anything to achieve it. For most people, they just talk about success, dream about it and never really take action to achieve it. Some people even don’t know what they want in their life and they never talk about success in life at all.

In fact, there is a proven formula to achieve the great success that you always wanted. If you follow through this formula, you will be able to get success in your life. Below is the proven success formula which can be summarizing into 5 steps…

1. The first step is to identify what you want to achieve in your life. This is a very crucial step as it will determine every decision and action that you are going to take in the future. If you don’t know what you want in your life, you will be just like a lost sheep, you don’t have a clear direction of where you are heading. So find out what you really want in your life before you move on.

2. To get success in life, you need to believe that it is possible for you to achieve it. If you don’t believe in it, you will never achieve it. When your beliefs are strong enough, you will do whatever it takes to achieve it because for you, it is something true and you will do it to make it come true.

3. Set clear goals to achieve what you want. Do not underestimate what goal setting can do for you. Take out a piece of paper and write down your goals, and then paste it somewhere you can see it often. Remember, your goals must be measurable, specific and have deadlines.

4. Create an action plan on how you can achieve your goals. This is going to be your to-do list and you need to take action according to this plan everyday. The key to get success in life is to do what you should in order to get closer toward your goals each and everyday. If the action is not moving you toward your goals, change your strategies and go all out again.

5. The final step is to take consistent action so that you will eventually reach your destination someday. Once you have identified your destination, all you need to do is to take action to move towards it. Correct your course and you will reach there in the end. Do not procrastinate and do not delay your action. Stick to your action plan and do what you supposed to do.

This is the proven success formula. If you follow through these 6 steps above, you will definite get success in life. So put in 100% commitment and take the first step to make your dreams come true now.

eight steps to success

There are eight steps to success in life that are fundamental to your chances of success. Follow these steps and you will be able to achieve whatever you truly want. Some of the steps need you to work on developing yourself, in this article you are going to find out about the four steps that are critical to the way that you organize yourself and how you deal with people and your surroundings.
Applying the timeless principles embodied in the eight steps to success will have a tremendous impact on the results you can achieve in your life, whether you want to start a new business, loose weight, give up smoking, learn a new skill, get a promotion, pass an exam ...in fact any significant challenge you face in your life!
Personal planning and goal setting for success
Personal planning and goal setting are two of the core elements you need to be successful.
First you need to clearly know where you are going, what it is you want to achieve. Do you want to loose weight - if so how much and by when? Do you want to get a promotion - if so what is the new job you want and when do you want it by? Do you want to make more money - how much and by when?.
It's absolutely vital that you spend some time thinking about what is it you want and understanding how important it is to you. If you don't know the answers to these questions it would be a bit like setting out to go the supermarket without any idea where it is and what you are going to do when you get there. You wouldn't waste your time like that would you?
Try to imagine yourself having achieved your goal - what would the result look like, how would you feel - write down the answer to these questions.
Once you have a clear understanding of where you want to go, it's time to draw the map of how you're going to get there. In our supermarket example, if you didn't know where the store was you would draw a map. It's just the same with any destination you have in mind.
Start by looking at what you need to achieve to reach your goal - do you need to learn some new skills in order to get the job you want? If you want to loose weight, how much will you have to loose each week. If you want to make more money, what steps are you going to have to take.
Break your plan down into a few major goals and set dates for them. Does the plan look realistic, is it challenging but achievable? If not, you may need to rethink. If it does look challenging, that's fine - it's very important not to underestimate how much you can achieve!
Now starting with your first goal, break it down into small steps - each one should be something you know can do in a short space of time - hours, or at most a day or two.
Be proactive
Now you've got your plan you're already ahead of 95% of the population - take a moment to congratulate yourself. It's time to get going and take action. Be proactive, make sure you do what you said you were going to do and make sure you don't let opportunities pass you by.
So many people fall into the trap of setting themselves goals and then doing nothing - there's something they want to watch on television, their cat got ill.... How many times have you set New Year's resolutions that go nowhere!
The best laid plans of mice and men...
... often go astray! Expect the unexpected - very few people know all the answers when they draw up a plan so it's very likely that your goal setting will meet some unanticipated obstacles. Be prepared to be flexible and proactive, adjust your plan as you go along.
Whatever you do, don't loose sight of your overall goal - don't compromise on that unless you absolutely have to - and if you have to make a change maybe you'll need just a little bit more time to get there. Warning! Don't make a habit of making a change to your goal or you'll loose sight of it and end up back where you started - only more frustrated and more convinced that you can't do it.
